Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak has once again spoken about Apple and its competitors to Wirtschafts Woche (via MacRumors), a German business magazine. He reiterated what he has said on several occasions in the past: others have caught Apple up and that Samsung is a serious competitor, but stated that he was proud Apple had loyal fans.
Despite making the criticism of Apple, he did put a huge emphasis on how dedicated he was to the brand and the experience. It’s well known that he likes to queue outside on launch day, and while he says he could get it earlier or more easily, he wants to have the experience like every other customer.
Woz carries around a few iPhones and a few Android phones all at once, so he’s a pretty good candidate to ask about the state of smart phones in general. I don’t want to start a war down in the comments, but I think that Apple’s co-founder does have a point.
