Like many others (at least judging by what I see on Twitter), I’m starting to develop a thing for snapping panoramas on my iPhone, thanks to the new Panorama Mode in the iOS 6 camera app. Many have become frustrated that you can seemingly only take panoramas from left to right – or so they think.

As it turns out, you actually can switch the direction of the panorama – and reversing the direction couldn’t be simpler! As noted by MacGasm, all you need to do is open the Camera app, activate Panorama mode (Options > Panorama), and then tap the on-screen arrow.
That’s it! You can now switch panorama directions at will, which can be extremely useful for capturing certain types of thoughts!
