Following last month’s My Xbox LIVE update allowing you to control your Xbox 360 with your iPhone or iPod touch, Microsoft has now updated its iPad app with the new feature as well. Yup – you can now control your Xbox 360 using your iPad!
From the App Store description:
Use your iPad with your Xbox to connect, control and discover content on your console. Connect your iPad for access to a quick list of your most recent console activity. Control your content with play, pause, fast forward and rewind media controls.
As with the iPhone, I have my doubts that the iPad would make a decent game controller for the 360, especially considering the large number of excellent controllers already available. It should prove useful for browsing through menus, as an audio and video remote, however!
The app is available now from the App Store as a free download (free, App Store link).
