How to: Show Login Items In The Finder
Many users use the Login Items function of their user account in order to launch applications upon login. It simply saves time in contrast with opening each individual app.
You may also find that certain applications will create a login item without you knowing about it.
Simply navigate to System Preferences > Users & Groups. Then select your current user account and proceed to the Login Items tab.
If you see a listing within this area that your not sure of then simply Right Click and select Show In Finder. This will then show you where the file, which is set to login automatically, is located.
Upon finding out more information about the file, and if it is important to an application or process you can then remove it if it is not important. Simply select and click the minus button below the window.
