Apple released a new app called Cards alongside the iPhone 4S last October, allowing users to create greeting cards on their iPhone, and then physically send those cards by mail to friends and relatives. Apple today updated the app with new card designs for Mother’s Day and other improvements.

The cards can be sent from within the app for $2.99 within the U.S., and for $4.99 when sent to or from anywhere else on the planet. Cards is available for free through the App Store (free, App Store link).
