Yesterday marked the 36th anniversary of Apple. On April 1st, 1976 (yes, April Fools Day!), Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak met in Paul Jobs’ garage (Steve’s father) and signed the founding documents for what would become one of the most successful companies in history.
While a lot has happened since that magical day 36 years ago, it’s worth remembering the magical day that an empire was formed by two friends with no money and a pie-in-the-sky dream that seemed so unlikely at the time.
Even though we’re a day late in celebrating this great occasion, I felt that something still had to be said. So I’m saying it now. Happy 36th birthday, Apple! And thank you Steve Jobs – your legacy will be remembered forever. To commemorate the occasion, enjoy the below video of Steve Jobs unveiling the very first Mac!
Simply beautiful.
