How To: Create An Auto-Response Vacation Message For iCloud

If you have an iCloud account and the associated email address @me.com then you will be able to set a vacation auto-reply message.

Simply go to www.icloud.com and sign-in. Upon doing so you will be presented with the main splash screen as shown below:

Select Mail as highlighted above and upon loading click the gear icon in the top right hand corner of the display as shown below:

Then select Preferences from the drop down menu.

You will then be presented with an additional window and the final option will be Vacation. Select that option and the following view will be presented:

Simply type your vacation message in the box allocated. By default the Auto-reponse functionality is turned off. Simply add a tick to the check box to enable and click done.

By removing the tick you message will be saved for future use but will not be sent to people until you re-activate it.
