Apple has launched a new website designed to walk potential Mac owners through finding the right Mac for their particular needs. The “Help Me Choose” site asks the user a small number of questions before suggesting the Mac(s) that will best meet the user’s needs.
The site asks questions such as how the Mac will be used, what the user’s day-to-day “essential” activities are, the creative pursuits they enjoy, what they do at work, how the user gets creative, and where the Mac will be used. It also asks what peripherals will be used with the Mac and the budget the customer has in mind.
Once the user has answered all of the questions, an algorithm takes over, considering all of the user’s answers to recommend the right models for the user’s needs. It also presents possible upgrades, such as increased storage or expanded memory. It also offers additional Mac options if the user is willing to be a bit more flexible with their budget.
You can access the Help Me Choose website here, Or, visit the Mac section of Apple’s website and click on “Compare” or “Shop Mac” and then click the “Shopping Guides” option.
