Apple Seeds Second Beta of macOS Sonoma 14.1 to Developers for Testing

Apple Seeds Second Beta of macOS Sonoma 14.1 to Developers for Testing

Apple today seeded the second beta of its macOS Sonoma 14.1 update to developers. The new beta comes one week after the launch of the first beta.

The developer build of macOS Sonoma 14.1 can be downloaded by developers through the Apple Developer Center and once the correct profile is installed, succeeding betas will be available through the Software Update mechanism in System Preferences.

macOS Sonoma‌ 14.1 includes updates for the Music app, providing an option to favorite songs, albums, artists, and more. Apple has not announced any other new features in the beta. We’ll update this space when we hear of new features.

As usual, MacTrast and Apple both warn users to not install any betas on their daily driver Mac, instead only installing betas on devices set aside for testing purposes.
