Apple today released watchOS 10.0.2, a minor update to the watchOS 10 operating system released earlier this month. the watchOS 10.0.2 update comes a mere five days after the release of watchOS 10.0.1.
watchOS 10.0.1 can be downloaded for free through the dedicated Apple Watch app on the iPhone by going to “General” -> “Software Update.” The Apple Watch needs to have at least a 50% battery charge, needs to be on a charger, and needs to be in the range of the iPhone.
Apple’s release notes say the watchOS 10.0.2 update includes bug fixes and important security updates for the Apple Watch.
The update is apparently limited to the recently released Apple Watch Series 9 and the Apple Watch Ultra 2.
