Apple has shared two new ads on its YouTube channel. One of the videos promotes the long battery life of the iPhone 14 Plus and the second video highlights the iPhone 14 Pro’s Crash Detection feature.
In the first one-minute ad, “Battery for Miles,” a man is slowly driving a tractor towing a gigantic pumpkin on a long, straight road seemingly miles away from civilization. “Two Miles An Hour” by Ludacris plays in the background.
The man has an iPhone 14 Plus running Apple Maps mounted in front of his steering wheel, telling him “In 102 miles, continue straight.” Then the tagline appears:
“Our longest lasting battery life ever. Relax, it’s iPhone 14 Plus.”
The second ad, entitled “Crash Test,” shows a car crash test in a hangar, set to the tune of “You Can’t Hurt Me No More” by Gene Chandler. The ad shows the collision taking place in slow motion until the vehicle comes to rest.
The ad then shows an iPhone 14 Pro mounted on the vehicle’s dash with a display that reads “It looks like you’ve been in a crash.” Then the tagline reads:
“Crash Detection can sense a severe car crash and automatically call 911. Relax, it’s iPhone 14 Pro.”
Apple periodically releases ads to promote the features of its current iPhone lineup, which is the iPhone 14 lineup. However, if you’re thinking of buying a new iPhone and there isn’t any urgency for an immediate purchase, you may want to wait a few months, as APple traditionally debuts its new iPhones in September of every year.
