T-Mobile today announced that it has renewed its partnership with Major League Baseball to provide T-Mobile subscribers with free access to MLB.TV through 2028.
T-Mobile will be the Official Wireless Partner of Major League Baseball (MLB), Minor League Baseball (MiLB), and Little League Baseball and Softball through 2028.
T-Mobile has, for the last several years, offered free access to MLB.TV (a $150 value) through its T-Mobile Tuesdays promotional app. MLB.TV provides home and away broadcast feeds of live games and on-demand game replays. Access is limited to out-of-market regular season games. (For example, here in middle Tennessee, I cannot watch Reds or Braves games, because I am apparently in the Cincinnati and Atlanta viewing areas.)
Unfortunately, if you haven’t already claimed your subscription you’ll have to wait until next year, as the 2023 MLB.TV access window ran from March 28 to April 4. The good news is that it will be available for the next five years.
T-Mobile’s MLB partnership also includes the following:
- Work with MLB to test the automated ball-strike system over a T-Mobile 5G Private Mobile Network at select MiLB games this season.
- Continue its title sponsorship of the T-Mobile Home Run Derby during MLB All-Star Week.
- Partner with MLB Network to bring back the fan-favorite T-Mobile 5G BP show for the T-Mobile Home Run Derby and MLB Postseason.
- Become the presenting sponsor for the Little League Baseball World Series, building on its relationship with the world’s largest youth sports organization.
- Give T-Mobile customers free MLB.TV subscriptions via T-Mobile Tuesdays through 2028.
