Apple today released the first updated firmware for the MagSafe Duo charger which is designed for use with the Apple Watch as well as MagSafe-compatible iPhone models.
While the new firmware is version 10M3063, in the settings app, you’ll see a 256.1067.0 version number, up from 186.0.0.0.
The MagSafe Duo, which was first released in 2020 alongside the iPhone 12, has not had a firmware update since its release. Apple has not published release notes, so it’s not clear what the new firmware brings.
There is no specified set of steps for updating the MagSafe Duo’s firmware. However, it needs to be plugged in and connected to an Apple device for a firmware update to begin.
