Amazon on Tuesday announced expanded access to the Amazon Music catalog for Amazon Prime subscribers. Prime subscribers will have access to the full catalog of 100 million Amazon Music songs, up from the originally available two million tunes.
While Amazon Prime subscribers will not have on-demand access to all of the Amazon Music library, the full catalog is available when listening in shuffle mode.
Prime members can listen to the most ad-free top podcasts available on-demand, including shows from CNN, NPR, ESPN, and The New York Times; the Wondery catalog of premium podcasts, like Dr. Death, SmartLess, and Even the Rich; and new Amazon Exclusive shows—more on those new shows below.
Amazon is not charging Prime subscribers more for the new Amazon Music access. A Prime membership is priced at $14.99 per month or $139 per year.
