Google would like you to switch from your iPhone to a new Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro and they’re attempting to lure you by offering high trade-in value for your iPhone 13.
Google is offering up to $750 in trade-in value to iPhone customers. The $750 is offered for an iPhone 13 Pro Max with 1TB storage, which went for $1599 when it was new.
Google is offering $595 for a 128GB iPhone 13 Pro Max, $645 for a 256GB model, and $695 for a 512GB model. In comparison, Apple offers a maximum of $720 for customers who trade in an iPhone 13 Pro Max for a new iPhone 14.
With the $750 maximum, the $599 Pixel 7 would be free, while the trade-in leaves Pixel 7 Pro buyers responsible for $150 as it is priced starting at $899.
Bad news if you’re looking to make a move in the other direction, trading your Pixel 6 in on the purchase of an iPhone 14 model, as Apple offers a mere $240 maximum trade-in value for the Pixel 6 Pro, which is last year’s Pixel model. Over the years, Apple devices have proven to generally hold their value better than Android devices.
