Apple on Friday seeded the fourth beta release of macOS Monterey 12.5 to developers for testing. The fourth beta comes two weeks after the release of the third beta.
The developer build of macOS Monterey 12.5 can be downloaded by developers through the Apple Developer Center and once the correct profile is installed, succeeding betas will be available through the Software Update mechanism in System Preferences.
There’s no word yet on any big new features or changes might be included in macOS Monterey 12.5, but if we find anything new, we’ll update you in this space. This update allows M2 Mac users to download the macOS Monterey 12.5 beta. (Which I guess is a big update for M2 Mac-owning developers.
As usual, MacTrast and Apple both warn users to not install any betas on their daily driver Mac, instead only installing betas on devices set aside for testing purposes.
