An unreleased iPhone, an entry-level iPad, and what is believed to be a next-generation iPad all walk into a bar have been imported into India, ahead of an anticipated launch announcement this spring.
Apple in January filed two new iPad models and one new iPhone in the Eurasian Economic Commission database with model numbers that do not correlate with any currently released product.
Those same model numbers have since been cross-referenced by “industry sources” cited in a new 91mobiles report that the new information tells us that the iPhone SE 3, a new iPad Air, and a budget iPad model will be launching in India this spring. Apple has been rumored to be readying the iPhone SE 3 for a March-April debut.
Apple is widely rumored to readying updated models of several of its products for a spring release. The iPad Air and iPhone SE are expected to receive modest updates. Meanwhile, a new iPad Air is expected to gain 5G connectivity on cellular models, an A15 Bionic chip, and Center Stage support. The iPhone SE 3, which is expected to start at $399, is expected to boast a new 5G support, an A15 Bionic chip, while maintaining the same 4.7-inch display as the current iPhone SE.
