Google announced back in December 2020 that the Apple TV app would be expanding to more Android TV devices in the near future. The future is now.
The Apple TV app provides access to Apple TV+ content as well as content from other sources. The app is now available in the Google Play Store on Android TV devices.
The Apple TV app is continuing its rollout to various devices. The app became available on Tuesday on Nvidia Shield Streaming devices, has been available on Xbox gaming consoles since last November, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 since November, and on Google Chromecast with Google TV since February.
