Apple today seeded the second betas of its new iOS 14.6 and iPadOS 14.6 updates to developers for testing. The new seeds come just one week following the first betas of iOS 14.6 and iPadOS 14.6.
Beta builds are available to developers through the Apple Developer Center or over the air on the devices with the proper configuration installed.
At this point, we don’t know exactly what’s included in the iOS 14.6 and iPadOS 14.6 updates, but we’ll update this article should we find anything new. At this point in time, it appears the new betas consist of under-the-hood bug performance improvements and bug fixes for issues that weren’t able to be addressed in iOS 14.5 and iPadOS 14.5.
As usual, MacTrast and Apple both warn users to not install any betas on their daily driver iPhone or iPad, instead only install betas on a device set aside for testing purposes.
