Apple CEO Tim Cook on Thursday announced that Apple has plans to donate to local, community-based organizations in Texas to support their relief efforts.
Our hearts are with everyone across Texas and around the US, including many of our team members, as they endure the impact of the harsh winter storms. Apple will be making a financial contribution to local, community-based organizations to support their relief efforts.

Texas was hit by harsh winter weather this week, forcing local residents to deal with snow and freezing temperatures. Texas’ power infrastructure has been unable to keep up with the increased energy demand and power has been out around much of the state for much of the week.
As millions across the state have dealt with no electricity in the cold temperatures. Pipes have burst due to the lack of heat in the face of extreme temperatures. Water in some areas has become unsafe to drink due to electrical failures.
Apple traditionally provides financial relief to organizations dealing with catastrophes and natural disasters.
