It took a bit longer than expected, but developer Hipster Whale has finally delivered the promised Crossy Road Castle game to Apple Arcade.
The game, which is a cross between an endless runner and a platformer is available on Apple Arcade for the iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and Mac.
Players must guide their characters through a castle full of enemies and obstacles to overcome, as they climb as high into the castle as is possible. The game can be played solo, although there is also a cooperative mode that involves multiple players to navigate the castle using multiple game controllers or iOS devices.
Successful gameplay unlocks new characters to play, and the developer says new towers and characters will be released regularly.
The new game is now available as part of the $4.99 per month Apple Arcade subscription fee and includes no in-app purchases or additional costs. Up to 4 players can play the game collaboratively via a local connection. Crossy Road Castle can be played on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and Mac.
