Apple on Tuesday released watchOS 6.1.3, the fifth update to the watchOS6 Apple Watch operating system. The new update comes three weeks after the public release of watchOS 6.1.2.
The update includes improvements and bug fixes, including a fix for an issue that prevented the irregular heart rhythm notification from working as expected for Apple Watch owners in Iceland.
The watchOS 6.1.3 update can be installed on compatible Apple Watches via the Watch app on the device’s connected iPhone. Go to “General” -> “Software Update” to install the new software. The Apple Watch should have at least 50% battery life, be connected to a charger, and be in the range of the paired iPhone.
Apple also released watchOS 5.3.5, an update for Apple Watch models not able to run watchOS 6 due to the use of an older iPhone that cannot run iOS 13.
