Good news for the 13 people that haven’t yet subscribed to the Disney+ streaming service: Disney is offering a $10 Cyber Monday discount for the first year of service, bringing the cost down to $59.99 for an entire year of access. The price goes back to $69.99 on Tuesday.
Disney+ has enjoyed success right out of the gate, with 10 million subscribers in its first 24 hours of operation. Today’s deal should gather any stragglers into the fold.
The deal runs through 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time, and is available here.
At launch, the service had over 7,500 movies and TV shows available. In addition to content from the Disney library, original content, such as The Mandalorian, is also available on the streaming service. (My personal favorite is “The Imagineering Story,” a documentary series that shows the development of Disney’s popular amusement parks.)
The streaming service is available for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Android phones and tablets, Roku, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Amazon Fire TV, and select smart TVs. The content can also be viewed online at disneyplus.com. The service is available in the United States, Canada, and the Netherlands. It will launch in UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and more on March 31, 2020.
