Apple on Wednesday shared a preview of their first ever Apple store in Thailand. Apple Iconsiam will open Saturday in Bangkok on the shores of the Chao Phraya.
“Bangkok is a cultural and economic destination for the entire region and home to millions of passionate Apple customers,” said Angela Ahrendts, Apple’s senior vice president of Retail. “We are thrilled to introduce our Thai customers to Today at Apple, our full line of products, our phenomenal employees, and the service and support that are loved by customers around the world.”
The new store is located above “River of Kings” in the heart of Bangkok. The store features two expansive glass facades “that create transparency through the store to the river, city and beyond.” The store entrance is made up of a sweeping curve stone entry, and a roof garden featuring local art works, as well as an area for Today at Apple sessions, and scenic views of Bangkok.
Indoor Today at Apple sessions will be held in a large Forum, complete with a video wall and plenty of seating.
The store is staffed by over 100 employees, and will open on Saturday at 10 a.m. local time.
