Apple TV Adds Apps for NBCUniversal Channels Syfy, Bravo and E!

The fourth-generation Apple TV gained some new television network streaming apps on Thursday. Cable subscribing Apple TV users can now stream shows from Bravo, E! and Syfy, all NBCUniversal owned networks.

Variety:

The apps include access to full seasons and current and past episodes of many of the cablers’ programs, but the content is available only to Apple TV users who authenticate via their cable, satellite or telco TV provider.

The three new apps, Bravo Now, E! Now and Syfy Now offer content including current offerings on the cable channels, as well as a wide selection of programs from their previous seasons.

Bravo Now offers such educational fare as “The Real Housewives of New York City,” “Top Chef,’ and “Odd Mom Out.” The Syfy Now app brings a wide selection of Syfy Network fare, including drama “The Magicians,” and reality show “Face Off.” E! Now will keep you on the edge of your seat with “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” and other unscripted fare including “Botched,” and Caitlyn Jenner’s “I Am Cait.” (Hear me roar?)

The new NBCUniversal apps join the NBC, USA, NBCSN and CNBC apps on the Apple TV. The launch is part of NBCUniversal’s ongoing “TV Everywhere,” effort, to ensure the Peacock’s various networks and shows are available anywhere a viewer might want to view them.
