Apple on Monday released the first betas of iOS 9.3.3 and OS X 10.11.6 El Capitan to developers for testing purposes.
iOS 9.3.3 – Beta 1
The first beta seed of iOS 9.3.3 – build 13G12 – can be downloaded from the Apple Developer Center, or can be downloaded over the air on devices enrolled in the developer’s program.
At this point, we’re not sure what changes iOS 9.3.3 brings to iOS devices. However, as a 9.X.X update the changes are likely to be under the hood performance and bug fixes.
Of note: as mentioned by MacRumors, there is no iOS 9.3.3 update for the 9.7-inch iPad Pro, suggesting the beta doesn’t fix the bricking issues that have plagued some Pro owners following the public release of iOS 9.3.2. Apple pulled that update for the 9.7-inch iPad Pro, and has yet to re-release it, or announce a fix for the issues.
OSX 10.11.6 – Beta 1
Also on Monday, Apple released Beta 1 of OS X 10.11.6 El Capitan to developers for testing purposes. The beta – Build 15G7a – is available for download through the Apple Developer Center or via the “Update” tab in the Mac App Store.
As with the iOS 9.3.3 beta, also released on Monday, we don’t know what changes have been made in the beta, but it is also likely to be an under-the-hood performance and bug fixes type of update.
