Apple on Wednesday seeded the fourth beta of iOS 9.2 to developers and public beta testers. The new seed comes just over a week after the release of the third beta seed.
The fourth beta of iOS 9.2 – build 13C5075 – is available as an over-the-air update to users whose devices already had the previous beta of 9,2 installed, as well as via download from the Apple Developer Center, (the last option is for developers only).
Earlier betas of iOS 9.2 offered bug fixes and performance enhancements, and also brought changes to the Safari View Controller for apps, allowing it to work more like the standard Safari browser, offering support for third-party action extensions, as well as allowing a long-tap on the browser refresh button to load content without blocking content, as well as loading the desktop version of a website.
iOS 9.2 beta 2 improved Safari View Controller further, introducing support for dismissing it with an edge swipe. It also included support for AT&T NumberSync. Via NumberSync, other devices,such as an iPad or Mac, can place calls and texts over Wi-Fi.
