Apple continues to expand its 3D Flyover coverage in Apple Maps, as it recently has added 19 new locales, including a number of locations in France, Italy, Germany, and the United States.
New Flyover areas include:
- Angers, France
- Carcassonne, France
- Florence, Italy
- Genoa, Italy
- Gold Coast, Australia
- Lugo, Spain
- Mannheim, Germany
- Mexicali, Mexico
- Murcia, Spain
- Nagasaki, Japan
- Neuschwanstein Castle, Germany
- Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
- Parma, Italy
- Pavia, Italy
- Sanremo, Italy
- Shizuoka, Japan
- St. Louis, Missouri
- Stuttgart, Germany
- Tijuana, Mexico
Apple creates the 3D Flyover feature by combining high-resolution aerial images with 3D visualizations of structures, landmarks, and other points of interest. Apple last updated Flyover in August, when it added 21 new locales to the list of Flyover cities.
