In what definitely should be considered the best time wasting achievement of the day, you can now play over 2,400 MS-DOS games inside of a tweet! Sure, you have to play them one at a time, but it’s still cool!

The games are from the Archive.org collection of public domain MS-DOS games, which contains over 2,400 game in its library.
The feature was first noticed by Wired:
“I DON’T KNOW when this became possible, but if you paste the URL to one of the many MS-DOS games that the Internet Archive has preserved on its servers into a tweet, and view said tweet on the web, the embedded game is playable within said tweet.”
You may remember our post on the Archive.org game collection back in January. These are the same games, but playable inside a tweet.
While Prince of Persia ran great on our Mac in the Chrome browser, when we attempted to play a game via Twitter on the iPhone, it did run, loading into the Twitter app’s browser view. However, it was horribly slow, with no sound or discernible controls. Let us know if you fare better.
