As was expected, Apple has sent out invitations to select members of the media for an event to be held at 10AM Pacific Time on October 16 at the Town Hall auditorium at the Cupertino firm’s headquarters. The invitations carry the tagline: “It’s been way too long.”
The company is expected to debut an updated iPad Air, updated Macs, likely including a model with a 27-inch Retina display, (Here’s hoping for a new Thunderbolt Display too…) Also expected is a final unveiling of the finished OS X Yosemite Mac operating system. Some rumors have suggested the Mac mini will also receive a long-awaited update at the event. (Well, the invitation does say, “It’s been way too long.” – Ed.)
