Apple has officially added the FXNOW channel to their Apple TV set top box offerings. The channel – available to users in the United States – offers on-demand streaming of content from the FX, FXX, and FXM networks.
Previous reports indicated that FXNOW also planned to make its new Simpsons World service, which offers on-demand content from The Simpsons TV show, through the Apple TV channel when it launches this fall. For now, the channel offers a selection of full episodes, clips and movies from FX.
The FXNOW channel is now available to Apple TV viewers, and will require you to authenticate your cable subscription before viewing any of the what is sure to be dazzling and intelligent content. Subscribers of AT&T U-Verse, Bright House, Comcast Xfinity, Cox, Time Warner Cable, and several smaller cable companies can currently access the new channel.
