21-year-old Aracelis Ayuso died on Saturday, after falling in front of an arriving subway train while attempting to catch the iPad she had just dropped. She was waiting for a Brooklyn-bound No. 4 train when she lost her grip on the tablet around 3:30PM, police said.

The woman who was crushed to death by a subway train at Union Square on Saturday lost her balance after fumbling with her iPad, causing her to fall onto the tracks, officials said.
Police report that the woman appeared to have lost her grip on the device, and made an attempt to catch it, but lost her footing and fell onto the tracks in front of an arriving train. While the conductor spotted the woman, it was too late to stop the train.
While police originally thought Ayuso may have been drunk when she fell, they reported on Sunday that there were no obvious signs she had been drinking. A toxicology report is pending
