Smartwatch maker Pebble has announced that its stainless steel encased “Pebble Steel” watch will be available at Best Buy starting June 15th. The Pebble Steel will sell for $229, and will be available both online and in-store.
Last year, Best Buy became our very first retail partner—the first shop to sell the original Pebble in stores and online. We’re excited to team up with Best Buy once more to make Pebble Steel available for $229 in two finishes: Brushed Stainless and Black Matte—both with a black leather strap. Matching Brushed Stainless and Black Matte Pebble Steel watchbands will be available later on as a separate accessory. In addition, we’re introducing a third color for the original Pebble at Best Buy, with Arctic White joining Jet Black and Cherry Red for just $149.
The Steel’s body is constructed of marine-grade stainless-steel and the screen is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass.
The Pebble Steel will continue to be available on the Pebble website for $249, which will include both a leather and a stainless steel watch band.
