GarageBand for Mac Gets an Update – New Drummers, MP3 Export, More

Apple has given their popular GarageBand app for Mac an upgrade to version 10.0.2 today, adding several improvements, such as the ability to export songs in MP3 format, multiple enhancements to accessibility, and new drummer options in the $4.99 content pack.

What’s New in Version 10.0.2

Apple introduced GarageBand 10 last October, the same time OS X Mavericks debuted.

While the basic GarageBand app is available free in the App Store, additional content, such as the complete set of GarageBand sounds, loops, and drummers, as well as access to the GarageBand Lesson Store, are available as a one-time in-App purchase of $4.99 due to licensing costs for the content.
