TmoNews reports that you’ll be able to get either of Apple’s latest iPhones, the 5s or 5c for $0 down during the three-day Black Friday weekend.
According to some field sales news, for three days only, you’ll be able to get either of Apple’s latest iPhones for $0 down on EIP. The offer applies on iPhone 5s and 5c from Friday, November 29th through Sunday, December 1st. That’s a $149 saving up front on the iPhone 5s and a $49 saving on the 5c. A select number of stores will be accepting orders from Thursday evening.
New price cards for the iPhone’s will be in place for store openings on November 29th.
Come Cyber Monday, you’ll still be able to get a nice discount, but not $0 down. iPhone 5c will be available for $9.99 down, and 5s will go for $49.99 down. In-store pricing on Cyber Monday will be different from what’s available on T-Mobile.com. No word on if this will affect monthly EIP payments.
(UPDATE 11/29/13) – 9to5Mac has confirmed T-Mobile will be raising the monthly payments on the $0 down deal. So be aware of that…
It turns out this deal doesn’t provide much of a savings in the long run. T-Mobile is raising the monthly installment from $20 to around $27, so while you won’t have to put any money down up front, you’ll still be paying off the full cost of the device over the 24 month installment plan period.
