Barnes & Noble has announced the release of apps for its Nook Video service for IOS, Android, and Roku. The service offers a catalog of HD movies and television shows available for purchase or rent. The app also allows users to view previously purchased Nook and UltraViolet-enabled content. The launch follows the company’s June announcement that it would no longer sell its Nook tablet line, and would focus on its e-readers.
