Apple recently released iTunes 10.3 in order to bring some early could features to users prior to the iOS launch this fall, but some users have been having trouble syncing their iOS devices, so they have released a patch to address the issue.
The update, which I learned about via software update, which I run periodically every day, came early this morning, and should fix any sync issues you might have been having with iTunes 10.3. It can be downloaded in two ways: either from Apple’s support site, or via OS X software update.
