Leaker Prosser Shows Off Alleged iOS 19 Design Changes

A new video shared by leaker Jon Prosser on Front Page Tech shows a more refined iOS 19 leak concept, featuring more-rounded icons, reflective elements, and more.

While leaks about Apple’s operating systems are rare, Prosser claims he has access to a recent build of iOS 19.A previous Prosser leak included glassy elements Mark Gurman called outdated or inaccurate, but Prosser has returned with a new design featuring a few more redesign tweaks.

In a video shared by Jon Prosser on Front Page Tech, he says the new leaked iOS 19 UI is from a more recent build. Everything shown in the video is an artist’s render, as the video doesn’t use actual screenshots to protect the source of the leak.

The leak shows off glassy edges reflect light based on device tilt, a new TabView UI, and more pill shapes across the system that appear to use elements of the Apple Vision Pro operating system, visionOS.

Home Screen app icons appear as more-rounded squircles, which is a square that’s not quite a circle, similar to what is seen in some Android skins.

Apps with tabs will gain more animations and floating bars, which Prosser calls TabView. While these share aspects of the floating UI elements already present in iOS, their animations are more lively, like Dynamic Island.

A new search UI in iMessage that wasn’t in the original iOS 19 leak video makes an appearance. It takes shape as a floating pill-shaped button at the bottom of the app.

The Settings app is also tweaked, with a longer, skinnier toggle switch.

While the new leak shows off possible new icon shapes for iOS 19, but the latest leak doesn’t provide much more than what we’ve seen before. We will likely continue to see more leaks about the look and feel of iOS 19, until the official unveiling of the new iPhone operating system at WWDC25 on June 9.
