ColorWare’s Custom Apple Pencil Pro Lets Users “Play With a Crayon” on Their iPad

ColorWare’s Custom Apple Pencil Pro Lets Users “Play With a Crayon” on Their iPad

ColorWare has announced a new range of custom Apple Pencils that have been designed to look like the familiar crayons we all colored with as children (yes, and as adults). ColorWare is known for its custom-decorated Apple accessories, like AirPods, and the ColorWare Apple Crayon Pro now joins that list.

The ColorWare Apple Crayon Pro is available in seven colors, including black, mint, pink, purple, red, white, and yellow and is priced at $215, which is admittedly quite a bit more costly than the boxes of crayons we all used in school. (Yes, even the huge 64 crayon box with the built-in sharpener.)

Each Apple Crayon Pro is created using a standard Apple Pencil Pro, so all of the usual Apple Pencil features and functionality are all there for you. Each Apple Crayon Pro boasts a custom colored tip and a matching wrapper, all of which is painted on a standard Apple Pencil Pro.

In the past, ColorWare offered a customized Apple Pencil designed to look like a number 2 pencil (go Farber Mongols!), but these new crayon-like styluses will stir up memories of fun times at school, not standardized testing. These customized Apple Pencil Pros look quite a bit like the crayons we all love and remember fondly.

ColorWare uses a multi-step coating system, using a primer, a proprietary color formula, and a liquid plastic coating designed to make the color last. All products are warrantied for 12 months.

The ‌Apple Pencil‌ Pro works with the M4 iPad Pro models, the M2 and M3 iPad Air models, and the A17 Pro iPad mini.

ColorWare is selling the Apple Crayon Pro for $215, and all colors are available from the ColorWare website as of today. Orders will ship in approximately two weeks.
