The season two finale of Severance will begin streaming this evening on Apple TV+. The popular series 10th and final episode of the season will be available to stream at 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time, 8:00 p.m. Central, and 6:00 p.m. Pacific. The season ender will be the lengthiest episode of the series so far, coming in at 76 minutes.
Tonight’s episode should wrap up the season two storyline and will hopefully finally clue us in as to what the Macrodata Refinement department actually does and what “Cold Harbor” really is. (I really feel like Apple has missed an opportunity by not creating a real game based on the Macrodata Refinement department process of clicking numbers.)
Apple shared a brief teaser for the episode that Apple highlighting one of the goats, so there’s that.
Severance is one of Apple TV+’s most popular and talked about shows, and it was reported last month that Severance had broken all Apple TV+ viewing records. The series is the platform’s most popular series ever, based on the number of unique viewers that streamed the series during the first month of the series sophomore season, which was January 17 through February 17, 2025 on the calendar.
While Apple has yet to announce that Severance has been renewed for a third season, series executive producer and director Ben Stiller recently confirmed that scripts for the third season are being written.
Stiller said he is hoping to avoid the nearly three-year delay between seasons that occurred between the first and second seasons.
