Apple will likely unveil new iPads sometime soon after it unveils new M4-powered MacBook Air models later this week, says Bloomberg‘s Mark Gurman.
iPad Air and iPad 10 inventory is running low at Apple Stores, which could be an indication that new iPads are on the way. However, unlike the new MacBook Air models, Gurman doesn’t expect the new iPad models to “come in the next few days.”
So while we don’t know exactly when the new iPads will be unveiled, it appears that the new tablets will not debut alongside the new MacBook Air models.
The new iPad will likely launch sometime this month or in April.
No major external design changes are expected for the new iPad Air or iPad 11, with this upgrade cycle being restricted to internal updates such as an M3 or M4 chip for the iPad Air and an A16 Bionic chip or A17 Pro chip for the iPad 11.
