Apple will announce the 2025 Swift Student Challenge Winners on Thursday, March 27. Apple’s announcement came in the press release announcing Apple’s WWDC25 event dates.
Apple’s 2025 Swift Student Challenge, which began on February 3, allows students around the globe a chance to showcase their coding skills and creativity by developing app concepts using Swift Playgrounds or Xcode. Apple says the contest provides students the opportunity to learn real-world skills that can be used in their future careers.
Apple said it will select 350 winners whose submissions “demonstrate excellence in innovation, creativity, social impact, or inclusivity.” From that group of 350, Apple will name 50 Distinguished Winners and invite them to visit Apple in Cupertino for three days. All winners will also receive one year of membership in the Apple Developer Program, a gift from Apple, and more.
Students who entered the challenge can expect to receive an email notifying them about their status later this week.
