Apple Seeds Second macOS Sequoia 15.4 Release Candidate to Developers

Apple Seeds Second macOS Sequoia 15.4 Release Candidate to Developers

Apple today seeded the second Release Candidate of its upcoming macOS Sequoia 15.4 update to developers for testing. The new RC comes just a few days after Apple seeded the first RC.

The Release Candidate is currently only available to registered developers at this time, and can be downloaded from the settings app on each device.

macOS Sequoia‌ 15.4 brings Mail Categorization to the Mac for the first time, reorganizing the Mail app into dedicated categories like transactions, updates, promotions, and primary, a category that surfaces the most important emails first.

A new Apple News+ Food section in ‌Apple News‌+ is also available. The Sketch style is now available in Image Playground allowing users to generate images that look hand drawn. ‌Apple Intelligence‌ is also available in more languages, including French, German, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese (simplified), along with localized English for Singapore and India.

macOS 15.4 is expected to be released in April.

As usual, MacTrast and Apple both warn users to not install any betas Release Candidates on their daily driver Mac. Instead, only install betas and RCs on a device set aside for testing purposes.
