Apple Seeds Release Candidate of macOS Sequoia 15.4 to Developers

Apple Seeds Release Candidate of macOS Sequoia 15.4 to Developers

Apple today seeded the Release Candidate of its upcoming macOS Sequoia 15.4 update to developers for testing. The new RC comes one week after Apple seeded the fourth beta.

The betas are currently only available to registered developers at this time, and can be downloaded from the settings app on each device.

The new beta marks the return of the ability to view the amount of storage space used by Apple Intelligence on your Mac’s hard drive.

macOS Sequoia‌ 15.4 brings Mail Categorization to the Mac for the first time, reorganizing the Mail app into dedicated categories like transactions, updates, promotions, and primary, a category that surfaces the most important emails first.

A new Apple News+ Food section in ‌Apple News‌+ is also available. The Sketch style is now available in Image Playground allowing users to generate images that look hand drawn. ‌Apple Intelligence‌ is also available in more languages, including French, German, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese (simplified), along with localized English for Singapore and India.

macOS 15.4 is expected to be released in April.

As usual, MacTrast and Apple both warn users to not install any betas on their daily driver Mac. Instead, only install betas on a device set aside for testing purposes.
