Some Apple Cash users are experiencing issues with the payment service, due to a confirmed outage on Wednesday. Apple’s System Status page shows that there’s an ongoing issue with Apple Cash. Users are unable to send or receive funds. Other Apple services show as functioning normally. The issue first occurred at 10:01 a.m. Eastern Time and is still unresolved at the time of this article.
Only some users are reportedly affected, so Apple Cash may still be working for most users. Apple Card and Apple Pay services appear to be unaffected.
Apple Cash is a popular payment service, similar to CashApp, Venmo, and Zelle.
While it’s currently unclear when the Apple Cash issue will be resolved, Apple will update its website when it things are fixed.
