Disney this week announced that it is rolling out support for tracking mobile food and beverages orders via the iPhone’s Live Activities feature at its two major U.S. amusement parks.
The feature started rolling out on Tuesday at select mobile order locations across Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort. Where available, the feature allows users to track the status of their mobile order on the iPhone’s Lock Screen or in the Dynamic Island, with no need to open the My Disney Experience or Disneyland apps.
Customers can tap the “I’m Here, Prepare My Order” button to have their order freshly prepared, and they’ll be able to view their order number, order status, and pickup location.
Live Activities are available on the Lock Screen on all iPhone models running iOS 16.1 or later, while the Dynamic Island feature is limited to the iPhone 14 Pro models, all iPhone 15 models, and all iPhone 16 models. Your device is running the latest version of the My Disney Experience or Disneyland app.
