Apple Seeds Second Betas of watchOS 11.3, tvOS 18.3, and visionOS 2.3 to Developers

Apple today seeded the second beta of its upcoming watchOS 11.3, tvOS 18.3, and visionOS 2.3 updates to developers for testing, with the new seed coming three weeks after the release of the initial betas.

The betas are currently only available to registered developers at this time, and can be downloaded from the settings app on each device.

There were no notable new features found in the updates, but code suggests that Apple will add support for robot vacuums to HomeKit.

The tvOS 18.3 code also suggests we won’t be seeing the new TV and Movies and Soundscapes screen savers, which Apple had promised back in June. References to these screen savers have now been eliminated from the code.

Apple also plans to add a new notice about digital movie and TV show sales in tvOS 18.3.

As usual, MacTrast and Apple both warn users to not install any betas on their daily driver Apple Watch, Apple TV, or Vision Pro. Instead, only install betas on a device set aside for testing purposes.
