Apple Ranked at Top of Fortune’s Most Admired Company List for the 18th Consecutive Year

Apple has been ranked number one on Fortune‘s Most Admired Company for the 18th consecutive year. The rankings are based on a survey of 3,380 executives, directors, and analysts.

For the sixth year in a row, Amazon and Microsoft rounded out the top three. Nvidia, who makes GPU chips used generative AI explosion, rose six spots to No. 4.

The technology sector continued to dominate this year’s rankings,. Most notable is Nvidia, as its growing influence is due to its growing influence in artificial intelligence and GPU development. The company’s chips have fueled the explosive growth of AI, and its processors are the backbone for OpenAI’s, Google’s, and Microsoft’s generative AI.

Other industries are well represented on the list, as Berkshire Hathaway, Costco, and JPMorgan Chase rounded out the top seven. Companies making their debut on the top 50 list include ServiceNow, Taiwan Semiconductor, and Novo Nordisk.
