Apple today announced that Apple Fitness+ will add several new workout programs, Strava integration, new Time to Walk episodes, and more for 2025.
Strava Integration
Fitness+ is adding Strava integration, and is making a special trial offer to Strava subscribers. The enhanced integration allows members to share a Fitness+ workout to Strava. The Strava app can now display workout details — including the episode image, episode number, music genre, trainer name, and metrics. This allows members to track and share their fitness journey. As for the special offer, new and existing Strava subscribers can also redeem up to three months of Fitness+ at no cost, and take advantage of the largest library of 4K Ultra High Definition fitness and wellness content in the world, with over 6,500 workouts and meditations across 12 workout types to support their training.
Pickleball Workout
Pickleball is one of the world’s fastest-growing sports and Fitness+ has added a Strength, Endurance, and Agility for Pickleball program featuring professional pickleball champion Catherine Parenteau, who has been ranked No. 1 in the world in both singles and doubles. The program’s exercises are based on Parenteau’s own training regimen.
Yoga Peak Poses
These new workshop-style sessions concentrate on a single pose to help users build confidence and skill. Each session spotlights a single peak pose – including Dancer, Twisted Hand to Big Toe, and Crow, with a 10-minute prep flow to warm users up for the corresponding 10-minute practice session.
Introduction to Breath Meditation
The new Introduction to Breath Meditation program teaches users how to use simple meditation techniques to enhance focus, increase energy, and reduce stress. There are five 10-minute meditations to choose from. Breath is also now a meditation theme in Fitness+, joining Calm, Sleep, and Sound.
When Will We See the New Apple Fitness+ Content?
The new Apple Fitness+ content will be available starting Monday, January 6. In January, Apple Watch users can earn a limited-edition award when they close all three Activity rings for seven days in a row.
New episodes of Time to Walk will debut on January 13 with Adam Scott, Steve Aoki, Lana Condor, Tiffany Haddish, Rita Ora, Daddy Yankee, and Maddie Ziegler. Time to Walk is “an award-winning audio experience on iPhone and Apple Watch designed to help people walk more often.” As users walk, they’ll listen to some of the world’s most interesting and influential people as they share stories, photos, and songs.
Artist Spotlights will feature new workout playlists focused on individual artists, including Janet Jackson, Coldplay, Bruno Mars, and Kendrick Lamar.
