Nintendo today released Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete, which is a pay-for-play offline version of Pocket Camp that lets customers continue to play the popular game after the freemium version of the game was shut down on November 29.
The original Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp game was released in 2017. This new one-time purchase app is packed with items and events that were released over the course of seven years. It keeps the general game play of Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp without additional in-game purchases.
As a campsite manager, it’s up to you to build a fun campsite. While working as the manager, you can also fish, catch bugs, chat with animals, and collect your favorite furniture.
You can also change into your favorite outfit, make lots of detours, and enjoy your relaxing camp life!
The original Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp game was shut down almost exactly seven years after it launched. The original version was a freemium game, meaning there were plenty of players who purchased multiple items in the game. Happily for those players, the “Complete” version allows those players to continue to play the base version of the game.
Plus, players who played the original game can transfer their save data and continue playing. However, save data can only be transferred until June 2nd, 2025. Transferring a save requires a Nintendo Account.
The game has many of the same features as the freemium version of the game, although visiting and interacting with other players or receiving gifts is no longer a part of the game. There are no in-app purchases, and there is no online features.
Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete is available from theĀ App Store for $9.99.
